Symbols Panel

Symbols panel

The Symbols panel is your main tool for inserting symbols into the schematic. It contains:

  1. A button for quick symbol search by name
  2. A list of main symbol groups
  3. A list of subgroups within the selected main group

To insert a symbol:

  • Click a symbol subgroup to open its symbol palette.
  • Use the slider at the top of the palette to adjust the preview size.
  • Click the symbol you want — the palette closes and you can place the symbol precisely in the drawing.
  • Right-click to rotate the symbol 90° before placing it.
  • Press Esc to finish inserting.

Favorites Panel

The Favorites panel gives you quick access to the symbols you use most often.

Adding a symbol to Favorites:

In the symbol palette or the "Symbol Search" dialog, right-click a symbol and select Add to Favorites.

Removing a symbol from Favorites:

Click the symbol in the Favorites panel and press the Delete key.
