Snippets

You can save parts of a drawing that you use repeatedly and insert them again later.

How to create a snippet

1. In the drawing, select the objects that should form the snippet.
2. Choose the command Edit → Save as Snippet.
3. In the dialog box, enter the name of the snippet. Snippets can be organized into groups.

How to use a snippet

1. Choose the command Insert → Snippet.
2. A dialog opens where you select the desired snippet.
3. Double-click on the snippet to insert it, or press the OK button.

How to delete a snippet

Select the snippet and press the Delete key.

Transferring snippets to another computer

Snippets are stored in the symbol library in the _CONF\snippets folder. Each snippet is saved in a file with the .snippet extension.
