Snippets

Snippets allow you to save and reuse frequently used parts of drawings.

Saving a Snippet

1. Select the objects in your drawing that you want to save as a snippet.
2. Use the Edit – Save as Snippet command.
3. In the dialog box, enter a name for the snippet. You can also organize snippets into groups.

Inserting a Snippet

Use the Insert – Snippet command to add a snippet to your drawing.

Transferring Snippets

Snippets are stored in the symbol library under the "_CONF\snippets" directory. Each snippet is saved as a file with the "snippet" extension. To transfer snippets to another computer, copy this directory to the destination machine.
